History

Selfix is an official distributor of EPSON ColorWorks color printers and TSC Power Partner Gold for thermal printers. By joining forces we are able to supply labels (printed and unprinted) as well as label printer and dispensing systems from one source. In combination with Loftware (ex. NiceLabel) we create complete, ergonomic and delegable on-demand label printing solutions incl. integration into existing and also complex IT infrastructures.

It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that we bid farewell to our CEO and father of today's Selfix, Kurt Fischer. He passed away at the age of 73 after a serious illness. With the passing of Kurt Fischer we lose the pioneer and founding father of Selfix as we know it today. Kurt Fischer built Selfix from a small trading company of adhesive tapes to a powerful and agile label printing company and. His entrepreneurial foresight and commitment have left their mark on Selfix.

In the early and mid 1970s, Mrs. Christine and Mr. Kurt Fischer joined Selfix AG. They recognized that labels had a future, and at that time they began to establish themselves in the label market.

Founded as Selfix Hermann & Co. Originally produced file binding tapes made of imitation leather for notary's offices and courts.
