Winding directions for roll labels

A basic distinction is made between outside winding and inside winding. In the case of outside winding, the labels are on the outside of the backing film and inside winding on the inside.It is also important in which direction the printed image is placed on the label. Whether the label is portrait or landscape depends on the length and width of the label. The label on the liner may come off the roller foot or roller head first. Labels stuck vertically on liner may run off the roll ahead of the beginning or end of the word.

Roll labels for bottles

Bottle labels can be used as beverage labels, beer labels, spirits labels, sparkling wine labels or wine labels. For example, large industrial packaging factories donate bottle labels for glass and PET bottles. Wet glue labels are used when the label is further adhered and removable before application. This manufacturing process is typically performed by a wet glue labeling machine and requires additional label adhesive and label adhesive. Therefore, these paper labels have different uses than traditional self-adhesive roll labels because there is no permanent adhesive on the back of the labels. The beverage industry prefers to use these non-adhesive labels on multi-purpose bottles. This is because the removable label allows empty bottles to be cleaned without leaving any residue.
